Note: There will be a week-long studio break from 11/23-11/29!
Expand your handbuilding techniques and work on more complex forms such as lidded jars, teapots, and luminaries! Learn reductive kirinuki, how to coil larger forms, and the intricacies of spouts and handles! This class is intended for students who have taken a handbuilding class and are familiar with basic coil/pinch/slab techniques. This class is for ages 18+ only.
Class size: 10 students
Class includes:
Access to the studio to practice during open hours (M-Th 2-8:30pm, Sunday 12-5pm)
Use of communal studio tools, glazes, underglazes, and slips
Up to 25lb of clay with firing included for work made within the class (additional clay can be purchased from the studio)
All 6-Week classes are for ages 18+ only.
Cancellation policy: Please contact us at info@moonjellyceramics.com at least 7 days before the start of your first class if you need to cancel. Refunds will not be guaranteed after that date.
Make-up Classes: The first class is foundational to the entire series - please wait and sign up for another session if you are unable to attend the first class. Make-up classes are not guaranteed and we cannot provide refunds for missed class sessions. Please let your instructor know as soon as possible if you will be missing any of the classes during your session.
